Day: 1 On arrival transfer clients to Kandy, Sri Lanka

After lunch do a city tour of Kandy.
On your Sri Lanka tours you can visit the city of Kandy, which was the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings and is a world heritage site. The name Kandy conjures vision of splendor and magnificence.
Many of the legends, traditions, and folklore are still lovingly kept alive. Drive around the Kandy Lake built by the last Sinhala king Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe in 1798. Sri Lanka tours will take you to the Kandy town and Bazaar, the arts & crafts center and a gem museum and a lapid ary. In the evening visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic and thereafter witness a cultural show featuring traditional Sri Lankan dancing. Dinner optional. Overnight at, Kandy.
Day: 2
After breakfast proceed to Pinnawela and visit the Elephant Orphanage. This orphanage is the home for about 60 elephants, out of which many are baby elephants found abandoned or orphaned in the wile. They are being cared for, fed and trained by the wild life authorities. The best time to visit is during the feeding times, when one will have the opportunity of seeing the baby elephants being bottled-fed. Also could accompany the elephants to a river close-by and see the elephants having their daily bath and frolic in the water. Lunch optional. In the afternoon continue the balance city tour of Kandy including the Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya. You can visit the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens on your Sri Lanka tours. It was first built as a pleasure Garden by a Sinhala King and was expanded by the British. It is 147 acres in extent and provides an amazing variety of Trees, Plants, and Flowers. It makes a fascinating study for the Botanist - both amateur and professional. Dinner optional. Overnight Hotel, Kandy.
Day: 3
After breakfast proceed to Nuwara-Eliya. Enroute visit a Tea Factory/Plantation. Nuwara-Eliya, because of its invigorating mountain climate and scenery, is Sri Lanka's most popular hill resort. Nuwara-Eliya is also the heart of Sri Lanka's tea country producing a significant share of the world's best tea. One of the most important places to be visited on Sri Lanka tours is the highest mountain of Pidurutalagala (8282 ft). Nuwara-Eliya also has one of the finest 18 hole golf courses in South Asia. Day: 4
After breakfast proceed to Kitulgala, enroute view St. Claire & Devon Water falls. St. Claire is double cascade and has an impressive breadth to match its height of 241 ft. Devon no doubt named in the last century by a homesick English tea planter for his West Country birthplace. Plunges 281 ft and is an enchanting sight surrounded by unending acres of tea and wooded hills. Lunch optional. After lunch proceed to Colombo. Dinner optional. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day: 5
After breakfast proceed to the airport in time to connect flight for departure from Colombo, Sri Lanka.
